HAJJ BOWLING 2012 MASTER CHAMPIONS FOR SINGLE EVENT
DAQUIOAG, ANTONIO AND SAŃOSA CLINCH FEDBG MASTER EVENTS

JEDDAH. A high game on their two-game finals awarded Roger Daquioag, Richard Antonio and Sally Sañosa of the most coveted Master titles on the Filipino Expatriate Damayan Bowling Group 2012 Hajj Mini All Event games at the Bowling City here.
Daquioag with (1826) was second to Dariel Loquias (1874) but in front of Ruel Santoc (1817) after the nine-game qualifying. He even sluggishly started with 157 on the masters 2-game finals to look up at his competitors with Santoc leading with 203 and 188 for Loquias. But with exceptional professional calm attitude and soft-rolling style, Daquioag seared lanes with strings of strikes to take the OAB group Master title in 2-games scratch series of 391 after lambasting his two rivals of 234. Santoc turned out second with 386 and Loquias third with 369.
Antonio, one of the most celebrated bowlers in his level, finished third with 1863 behind top finisher Rolly Vistal (1885) and Jun Pingan (1876) on their 9-game elimination contested by 23 keglers including another two top favorites Edris Mangoda and Med Ramos who failed the race with 1835 and 1828. But a sparkling opener of 228 early advantaged Antonio as Vistal and Pingan humbly paced with 192 and 167. Vistal tried chasing with 205 on the last stint but Antonio defensively barred him with 174 to finally be the CD Master titlist with handicapped series of 402. Vistal’s efforts made him bridesmaid with 397 while Pingan embraced third with 348.
Sañosa with 1656 finished third behind top qualifier Fernandez (1749) and Miralbuna (1707). She survived fast-chasing top favorite May Lourdes (1645) and remarkably campaigning Eva Garcia (1605) on their 9-game race. But a sparkling 193 on the first game of their Master contest advantaged Sañosa as Fernandez and Miralbuna could only contend with 183 and 172. Fernandez profusely tried to pursue with 202 but Sañosa blocked with 183 to succeed Ladies Master with 381 series. Fernandez (374) and Miralbuna (366) got satisfied with second and third places.

PIN SLASHER WINS TEAM EVENTS ON FEDBG HAJJ BOWLFEST

JEDDAH. Excellent teamwork paid off Pin Slasher team when Roger Daquioag, Tito Cruz, Jun Pingan, Carling Constantino and May Lourdes won the team, Men’s Trio and Mix Trio events on the Filipino Expatriate Damayan Bowling Group 2012 Hajj Mini All-event game at the Bowling City here.
Pin Slasher was actually 2 pins behind All Star and in front of AD Linkage and Pin Rockers after five games on running totals of 4879, 4877, 4793 and 4584 though they have team hi-game of 1043 and 1036. But with another hi-game of 1039, Pin Slasher seized the top position with 5916 pushing All Star to second spot with 5740, followed by AD Linkage 5730 and Pin Rockers with 5627. At this stage, Pin Slasher safeguarded their post with 940, 963 and 922 to finally win team event on team output of 8741.
Pingan top-scored Pin Slasher at 1876 handicap series followed by Roger Daquioag with 1826 scratch series while Cruz, Constantino and Lourdes contributed 1748, 1646 and 1645 respectively. At the final stint AD Linkage toppled second place with 8717 and Pin Rockers made it to third spot with 8557. Dariel Loquias topped the board for AD Linkage with 1874, followed by Med Ramos 1828 with Archie Santos, Aileen Miralbuna and Nurissa Ramos respectively adding 1721, 1707 and 1587. Pin Rockers was topped by Richard Antonio with 1863 with Romy Bunagan greatly planking 1804. Rudy Valenzuel, Fred Cuenca and Minda Guevara shared 1749, 1701 and 440 in that order.
In Men’s Trio event, Pin Slasher occupied the top position as early as fifth game and never looked back till Roger Daquioag, Tito Cruz and Jun Pingan emerged supreme on 3-man total of 5450 with 657 hi-game. With personal hi-game scratch 247, Pingan again top-scored with 1876, Daquioag with 244 hi-game had 1826 and Cruz with 220 shared 748. Again ranking second and third are AD Linkage and Pin Rockers with 5423 and 5368. Dariel Loquias posted hi-game of 232 for Linkage while Richard Antonio scored 235 for Rockers.
Mix Trio composed of Roger Daquioag, Carling Contantino and May Lourdes completed Pin Slasher’s domination of the tournament on 5117 three-bowler aggregate. All Star made it to second spot with 5081 and Ekis clinched third position with 5045. Rolly Vistal topped All Star board with 1885, Melvin Lising with 1676 and Ester Santoc with 1520. Engineer Ernie Geslani led Ekis with 1700, Tommy de Castro with 1689 and Sally Sanosa with 1656. BCT PROS, REMAR, Fire Fox, ARYANA and JEMAR also participated in this L’Occitane supported FEDBG 2012 Hajj Mini All-Event games.
